I heard that there was a solar eclipse visible in Europe yesterday, and I was just curious. Did any of our TTers from Europe see it? I heard Portugal was the best place for it...

And thats where I live... It was in the morning... 8:30 AM... When I woke up (1:30 hours afterwards) the sun was still partially blocked and the light from it was... Strange.. Orange coloured... Well there'll be another one here in 23 years! Lol

Just got dark here in england. And it was today.

BTW - It was a partial eclipse, My dads an astronomer so he knows. Im going to the solar eclipse in Greece, which is in the middle of march 06

I thought it was yesterday because I saw video of it on the news at 5 AM here. Good to hear firsthand reports, though. Thanks!

Anyone else? Anyone see the annular ring?

It was partial in england.... Bragança (a place in portugal) was the best place to see the normal :)
