You upload it to somewhere and give link to them or make your own website and give address where they can download it.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
Hhuummmm, I did't want to make it predownload :(
Well you could just make the server and anyone who joins can wait the 5-10 minutes for it to download.
But if you have special objects too, we would have to spend another 5-10 minutes to download those as well.
Finally if they get cut off when the game ends while downloading the terrain file they will have to start downloading the terrain file all over again
Worst of all, with all these people at your server downloading, you will get horrible lag for the few players who do get in.
Very few people will want to spend that much time waiting to join your server.
In short...
What ever your reason against pre-download is, it's not worth it.
Why make a MOD that is so inconvenient to experience?
