Hi all,
I've made up a new mod... I think it's really good. I've been trying lately to make TT mods seem 'real'. I've used some of Tim Aste's TGE Environment Pack contents in this mod, as well as a great palm tree model I came across on the internet.
The mod simulates and looks like a real forest (Sorta odd, tanks with brains smashing into trees in the forest), and there are some screenshots below... I hope to have it up all day tomorrow.

WARNING: You will need a reasonably fast computer and a good video card for this mod, as there are ALOT of polygons in there!

Now, onto the Beetle Car Racing mod! XD

Ah yes,I saw you modding that.

As for the bettle car,are you gonna make the car shape or are you just gonna add nodes to an already made shape?

By the way,not to burst your bubble or anything... Distributing content from things with a price tag is illegal.

Alright,lemme rate it outa 50:

Creativity: 2. Errm,you just drove around placing stuff and made it all trees and some rocks.

Laggy: -4. Lag is unbearable unless you have a good graphics card,and those cost alot.

Tank Friendly: 7. Mostly,the trees do tend to get annoying.

Fun: 5. Only with alot of people and a powerful computer can it be fun.

Miscellanious: 9. The tree's are really cool,and the rocks are good rocks.

Overall: 19 out of 50,not so good.

Well Leg, what do you think the point is of selling a content pack if no-one that buys it is going to distribute it? What would be illegal is if someone took the shape and put it in their mod. THAT would be illegal, since they didn't buy it. I did. They would have to go to court, not me.

Also, I am not directly distributing it OR selling it. You ARE allowed to use these models in your mod/game.

Anyway....

Creativity: Isn't that how almost all mods are made? Driving around and pushing buttons? I put trees in clusters and patterns for a reason.

Laggy: You were warned. It runs great on my computer.

Tank Friendly: This mod wasn't designed to be 100% tank friendly, but if you take the paths I made (the reason I put trees in clusters and patterns), you should be able to navigate fine.

Fun: Again, it wasn't supposed to be 100% fun either. It is really fun with really fast computers!

Miscellanious: Good. I'm glad you like them. Paid $80 for the combo pack, ya know!

Maybe you should arrange the tree's to say HI! When looked at above.

Anyway,I'm harsh when it comes to rating mods.

Hey CL, can I use your objects? I'd like that palm to my Desert MOD.

Oh sure, you can use the palm tree (palm.dts). Download from here. , JUST NOT ANYTHING ELSE!!! You CAN'T use treea.dts, rock1.dts or rock2.dts. Buy the content pack to do that.

When is this mod gonna be up?

CL Please you Art need to stop fighting we you guys work together you can come up with amazing Scripts. Also Chilled I have not seen your mod, why isnt it up?
