I have put this in a seperate thread, because it may be an error with the server's automatic ranking, or maybe not. You will be able to decide.

It seems some impossible rankings have been achieved! Check out this screenshot. It will help you see what I mean. (Note the "glassy" looking highlighted red cells)

SORRY FOR RUINING THE LAYOUT!!! ;)

See? That can't be right. Please let me know how serious this is.

It's possible to score that many points in a single game.

If you read the information about the rankings, it tells you that every player is given a score out of 1000 for their performance in each game. The ranking is an average of all these 'ratings out of 1000'.

So this is actually a really bad score if the trend continues.

Oh. OK. I read over the rating details, must not of caught that part.

Good to know. Thanks.

And to think, I went to all the trouble of decorating that screenshot.......

It would be unfair to rank according to (or influenced by) the number of games played, as some of the best players simply can't play as much as others. And a poor player could achieve rank No.1 purely by playing the most games if that were the case.

I thought it went by number of goals scored! ;)

I think -z- has done a great job of trying to make the stats accurately reflect player skill and not be influenced as much by luck. We have all played a game of scrum where almost every spawn yields a goal :P
