1 hour = 60 minutes
therefore
1/2 hour = 30 minutes

If the man takes one pill --> o <-- every 30 minutes, the timeline would be as follows:

0 min____________30 min____________60 min
o----------------------------o-------------------------o

So the pills would last 60 minutes.

That's assuming that the wording is straighforward and a mad axe-murderer doesn't destroy the man right after he takes the second pill.

It is ten minutes or half an hour, actually. See, if he says for you to tank three pills every half an hour, he means take three pills every half an hour. Timeline will not be fixed:

No, no one said anything about effects of the pills, The doctor just says to TAKE one every half hour. The effects could last an instant for all we know.

time you are using...

Standard US calendar would indicate there is a 4th day
of the 7th month.

If you are using an aztec calendar then it could be difficult
to argue july even exisit...

Likewise, Cl = kel x Vd, so, Cl = 0.693Vd/t1/2.

And t1/2 = 0.693 x Vd / cl

The rate of elimination is the clearance times the concentration in
the plasma

Roe = Cl x Cp

Fraction of the total drug removed per unit time = Cl/Vd.

If the volume of distribution is increased, then the kel will
decrease, the t1/2 will increase, but the clearance won't change.

In this case I would guess the pill would have a half life of about
15mins for volume of distrabution in the blood that is lipid soluble,
which would leave less side effects on the other drugs taken.

I like the pill conclusion you came to monica...
But I would say it would be safe to assume the pill works for only 30 minutes, thats why you must take another after that time.
I answered 90 because I was accounting for the time it took for the last pill to wear off.
But otherwise good job.

The innings one? Yeah, could be baseball or cricket... But seeming as since I live in the USA... Cricket never crossed my mind :P
