Woo hates Date Man simply put, don't get too excited about it.
I know. And I'm not. But I think he was using his Date Man thing as an excuse to attack me.
My point is: why is woohoo condoned, when others aren't?

^^ If you've noticed, there aren't many that like to be around him, therefore he is not condoned. Plus, he's been using the Date Man excuse for a long time just so he can be a jack***.
Can't say that I get it either, jacques. I get along pretty well with both of them, but the whole issue of woohoo/dateman seems to be going around for the third or fourth cycle...
One of them seems to be more mature in handling the problem, but they both can get going.

What the hell do you Jac@$$ keep accusing me for and keep threatening me for? I don't imposter anyone, why the hell would I want to use Datefart's name for? On every game I alway's getting BMed whenever I get ahead on the games or whenever I'm winning. If you want to keep accusing me - go ahead cause I ain't going to respond to any of your whining post, Jac@$$.
You people don't know how Datefart is like - he is only nice to people that are nice to him. He is a racist person and he chat's about it during the game using an alias and sometimes uses other player's names. He's been doing this since I have been playing this so called TT cartoon game - I am use to it anyways and I put him on ignore whenever he comes in the game using his Datefart name or when he start's chatting crap using other player's names. Some of you can call me what u want, cause I really don't care. I have some friend's and I am glad they do care about playing a fun game's with me. One of my good friend and I always take care of the troll's so that other player's can play the game without them interfering with the game.
Don't tell me to update my connection Vash cause it is more faster then dial-up and it goes up to 256k.
I ain't going to post on this thread after this, so say what you want about me.

^^ Ok, for starters your bad attitude is extremely evident in your post right there. I haven't seen Dateman ever post anything like you have right there. Also, the only times I've ever seen Dateman be a problem is when your snobby arse is in the server.

Hmm, I happen to be nice to those who are nice to me too, what a coincidence. What goes around comes around, they say. He's nice to people, so most of us treat him nicely. You happen to want to cr*p on most people, so we despise you. You also like to make a good person/people look bad to make yourself look good, which is also despicable. Tell you what, Woohoo: You get an attitude change and try treating people right, and maybe they'll start to do the same to you.

Hello. I'm not up to date with all the mini-wars and gossip, but I know woo-hoo was banned a few months ago from PTT for spamming. I have no idea on his TT attitude, but I know yours J and it's even and fair. You must be over 16 :)

Jacques is a good egg. I'd not even acknowledge what this woo person says. I seldom play but I watched this goof and his band of irrelevants do the same thing to some other folks.
I just use an alias in the SW servers and it seems to always work. If I get nagged I just switch names again and play in another server.
IMO some idiots just like to be an ass in a server while under alias and then read about it here.
P.S. This woo character has an uncommon lag which makes him pretty easy to figure out. I just remembered that from our 3 on 3 tourney game with him.

One thing I could never work out about you was:
whether a) you were ACTUALLY just a little arrogant self-righteous (-expletive deleted-)
or b) whether you just act like you are, using the cover 'policing' games to destroy the games of those who you have decided you don't like.

Ya know WooHoo, I was always brought up with, "If ya can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." That makes a lot of sense... No matter HOW hard or stupid it sounds. And if that one failed for me, I stuck with what my grampa always used to say. "We can all agree to disagree." That one is a keeper for sure. Not everyone in your lifetime is going to agree with you, WooHoo... Even your own friends. And although things may not always go your way, life is always alot more nice 'n smooth when everyone is on the same page. And what better way to end things than always "agreeing" on everything!? Sounds like a plan.

Aye, Date Man is a nice fellow. Most of the reasons why he gets a bad rep is because he was accused of impostering various players awhile back. I believe there was evidence for it as well, though I highly doubt it. The reason why Woohoo hates Date Man, is probably because Date Man doesn't like wooHoo. Heh when the two are in the same server, they tedn to argue, where Date Man is using his amusing classy insults, whereas woohoo begins to cuss. That could be the answer.

There was
evidence, but not of impostering, but of being a flat-out foul-mouthed troll. Remember Lewis? I'm not saying that DM was Lewis, but DM under the alias "untouchable" acted very similar. He spammed up the Hell's Army thread, also. Pretty mature and classy. I've had plenty of good games with Dateman, and I know he seems like a pretty good guy. (except for that annoying "what a day!") I was starting to think I had misjudged him, during a friendly in-game conversation. This was a while back, shortly after the break up of Hell's Army. We were just chatting, and wasn't really paying close attention, but It wasn't until after he left that I realized what he had said. He told me he was a 50 year old man with lots of resources that travelled alot. He then asked if I lived in upstate NY. Call me paranoid all you want, but I'm sure
he was implying that he was gonna come to my house and "get" me. I doubt he ever would, but isn't saying something like that crossing the line? I'm sure he was just trying to intimidate me, but he didn't. He's more than welcome to stop by, but he'd better make sure his boots are tied extra tight.
As for Woo, I know him to have always been freindly to me in-game, even when I was playing under an alias. I'm also aware of his flaws, the biggest being his temper. Nobody's perfect. Somebody rubs him wrong, he gets mad, he swears, he fights. I know alot of people like that. I'm not saying that's OK, I just see a whole lot of people ganging up on one guy here, and that ain't OK, either. Oh, and Dateman/eskimom/untouchable ain't OK either, in my book.
I will just say that Date Man's account on these forums was silenced for a reason. The fellow likes to play both sides, starting a fire and then acting innocent while it burns.

The eskimom thread was inexcusable - DM was lucky not to get banned instead of just silenced.
I talk to woo via email quite a bit (and not about TT). Hes a good person, give him a break.
I can take only so much back-and-forth drama before I give everyone involved a time-out. (Parenting creeping into my happy time. Got get that in-check.)
The alarming thing in this to me is that I have been in some Shockwave servers in which I have been attacked and called many names, and people try to ruin my games. Not a big deal, I expect that.
(It's actually pretty gratifying to do well in some games as people are trying to ruin your game. Just elevates the play, makes the winning or being on top even better.)
In some of the games I have been called a specifc name, while this person has been calling me this name, and trying to ruin my game, he has been very vulgar. So there's an intent to be vulgar and a pain in the a$$.
To my astonishment I was reading one of Woohoo's posts in which he was calling someone else a name and it was very similar to the names I have been called by that same vulgar player.
I know this is not DNA proof, but I have over the years, been taught to pay attention to the details and I have my own personal feelings about this.
I'm not sure what this will turn into, but I have made a mental note of it.

I know this stuff gets talked to death. But I'd really appreciate it if someone could make sense of this to me. I've tried going through old threads and it's still not clear.
Would someone please explain to me why *Date Man* gets a bad rap? Every time I've played him I find him to be a decent, friendly and amusing fellow.
And yet, today, *Woohoo* entered a server I was in, pronounced that I was Date Man and started to insult and BM me, exhorting others to do the same. The *instant* he entered the server. He left after being ignored for 5-10 minutes and then re-appeared as Date Man. I extended a friendly greeting (thinking him to be the real thing) and got flamed again. Very sexual profanity. Tried to grab a screenie but it didnt work. Likely couldn't have posted it anyway, it was that rude.
I know there is an element of "you've got to expect this in the public servers". And if I had the schedule to only play TS at night I would. But this is now the second time I've been attacked by Woohoo within about a week. What's the state of things with this fellow? I've given him every chance. But I now wonder why Chong is banned and silenced and this guy isn't.
I usually resist the urge to post this stuff but hey. Isn't that part of what these forums are for?
