To Blind Cide:
may it offend you or not, you will listen to what I have to say...

Ok, so I was minding my own business when Blind Cide joins the server, he seems to be the only one who thinks I have "constant" lag, when in fact I know I only lag out 2, mabe 3 times per game..

So he makes a witty comment about my lag like he always do, and frankly I'm tiered of hearing it arround the clock. So I tell him "I'm tiered of hearing ppl whine about it" and inmediately without warning, he kicks me out of the server, and fish tank joined in so I couldn't join again.

Look Blind Cide, I'll tell it to you like it is, and I'm hopping I won't have to say it again. You can either live with my few lag outs, or just not join the same server I'm in. If I could fix it I would, but sadly I can't. You complain whenever I get an advantage due to it, but you don't see me complaining when I lose points because of it.

If you hate it so much, why not try and help me find a way to fix it instead of showing me how little comfidence u have at backing yourself up just because u have the "big- bad- admin powers"to fall back on...

You feel me Dog? Case closed, Let me be.. As little enjoyment I still get from this game, I don't need you to be my "shadow"arround the clock...

In my opinion, Blind Cide is a very fair admin, I could not see how he would do such a thing.

BC is a nice guy, but that just made me lose respect for him...

Why didn't you just email him? There's no need to clog up PTT with more "admin abuse" threads.

It's getting old people. Start using email. It's there for a reason.

I can tell it like it is as well. When I used to play this game often I'd leave games you were in. Your lag was constant.

I also believe it's his server. I'd not allow you in mine if I had one up.

This thread and all threads like it should be deleted so as to allow us the continuation of our religious and political rants unabated. XD

I always thought of BC as a really good guy, I bet he had a good reason for doing it.

All I said was "hasn't changed a bit...laggy bastid". Why did you think that was you? And you have to admit that you didn't hear any "whining" after you were kicked, did you?

Ok... After reading it again.. I think I get what u'r saying, yes, I haven't been on much as of late, and gee, how would I hear whining if I was kicked :P

Still another thing that bugs me is why u couldn't have waited till the game was over, and give me a bit of a heads up? 8o

I just wanted to say that if anyone wants to play online games they need a good broadband connection. If you dont have one, you are not gonna get the full enjoyment.

I hear ya brotha.... My college has the crappiest connection :( We switch between two servers (or was it ports? Idk) which causes me (and consequently everyone in my school who plays online games) to lag out every 20 seconds. Somehow I manage to enjoy a few srum games and Rollerball. %)

IMO, this should be settled by e-mail. No need to bring anyone else into this. Both Cadc and BC are fair-minded people, so e-mail each other and settle it like gentlemen. Besides, why does a comment about lag have to be a bad thing? I get them all the time, take it as a compliment, people want to give an excuse as to why I score a lot. B)

^ other thing I've noticed is that it only happens when playing TT, everything else is lag free, it made me wonder if it was the program itself, but I tried some of my other TT coppies that are not bugged down with scripts and maps, and even those still lagged.. Sigh, idk what to do :P

When you say "everything else" works are you referring to other online games that require low latency and a large amount of processing power? The conditions that might lead to poor performance with TT wouldn't nesessarily affect general internet browsing for example.

I would recommend that you try multiple pinging of various servers to see if you have a consistent result and then traceroutes if you don't. You should also check your processor usage to see how much TT is using and also to make sure you don't have anything else competing for processor time (i.e. Viruses if you're on Windows).

I'm not a Windows user so I can't help you with advice about how to do that stuff. Because you are on cable and that should rule out your connection as a problem, I strongly suspect that you are either on a wimpy computer or you have a virus that is sapping your processor.

Or a router that eats packets for breakfast. Could be your router or some router between you and the server. For a while I had an idiot router between me and dashes. It happened right after dash started hosting all the time. I complained and dash told me to tracert the problem and contact them. I did and they didnt do anything but eventually they fixed or replaced it.
