Ok im on my new computer its a Compac Parsario with XP pro on it. I downloaded TT and when I try to start it up I get a black screen and no TT. (so it starts up then shuts down)
I had a wireless conection and I took it out and harwired it to my rouder. I just tryed to re-install it but still the same thing and after the screen goes back to noraml a window pops up and says :

Think tanks.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sry for this inconvinse
Please tell Microsoft about this problem

Excactly what I suspected....
You need the latest OpenGL drivers!
But you can also use DirectX, whih might work better for you (It worked better for me when I was using Windows)
Go into game/client/prefs.cs.
Hunt around in there for this line:
$pref::Video::allowOpenGL = 1;
Change that to 0.

Launch TT. If it doesn't work, install DirectX 9 (And OpenGL while your at it)!

And if THAT doesn't work....
1. Go out to the store
2. Buy an ATI Radeon 8500 or better
3. Install it (PUT IT INSIDE) your computer
