How do I make the object I made not appear grey when playing? Sounds supid maybe but how do I make it use a skin????

Unwrap it with a program called UV Mapper and put all of the lines and stuff where and how you want them
there are different settings with this so just play around with it until you get what you want
and with any image editing program, color over the lines with the skin you want it to have
then using milshape
select file, import, wavefront obj, your skin file
viola

Ok...
1. I dont get it at all.
2. The pro version of it made it have the skin I wanted but im not gonna pay for it.
3. Isn't there an easier way of putting a skin on it?

There is a free version of UV mapper
