Observer Script

I have decided to release the beta version of the Observer script. I haven't had time to refine it or add some other features I was hoping to include. But people have been requesting it so I will go ahead and release the.dso of my beta version for now. Installation and control instructions are included in the.zip download.

Download Removed

Enjoy!

EDIT: **** RECALL NOTICE****

Sorry folks, but I have removed my download to the Observer Script. There is a rather unpleasant bug that messes with hosting servers. I guess this is what I get for releasing a beta version that had not fully been tested. Eh anyway, for those that have the script installed it is probably best that you remove and delete all the evidence... Err files. Sorry for any inconvenience. I will tinker with it some more and hopefully get a bug-free version out soon.

Great!, just one thing, is it possible to allow the camera to rotate? That would make this the best it could be! ;) Other than that, it's amazing! Thx mman.

Thanks very much Monkee! If only DanMacDoanald can put this in Utilities under Files.

Great script. One question though. I have ekker's cam swithcer and one of the cam swith keys is "ctrl c" same as on your script. How can I change the observer script to use "ctrl o" instead?

Revel: MM's script uses command-c not ctrl-c (on the Mac).

PaNzEr: Use the mouse to rotate the camera and adjust its angle (just like the turret on the tank). Use the arrows or WASD keys to move forward/back; left/right.

Whats the Main.cs File

Monday, November 29, 2004 at 3:34:12 PM

Hmm, maybe it's supposed to be placed in a special spot in main.cs... I am thinking about completely reinstalling ThinkTanks for all the fiddling around I have been doing...

Cho

Could you just put it up for download anyway monkeeman ?
please I dont care about any mistakes

Woho, I realised today what kind of bugs it was causing to me. Bugs what it caused to me were: 1. I couldn't see the bots I added driving aroung the map. 2. When I chose team scrum game after one round goal and scrum disappeared. 3. The game freezed to 00 time and didnt went to scoreboard screen, but the game continued after 10 seconds. The 00 stayed on the screen.
Removed it and all of the three things above are working again! :)

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Yes exactly. I noticed bugs 2 and 3 also. Hopefully MonkeeMan will have time to fix these bugs. I will e-mail him.

I was messing with a script I made, and suddenly I found out how to start observing! It's as simple as eating an apple -- It's just 1line of code!
Of course it would require more scripting if I wanted to make it a working script.
I made it, and none of the bugs Triv stated above were happening...
Oh well, if you still using Monkee's script dont expect to be able to use it on my server!
The Commands are much different -- It's incompatible!
