Since the PSL team scrum season is coming to an end with its championship match next week, I propose we begin the process of setting up the 2007 tournament for 3 on 3 team scrum. We need to keep it short and simple or else risk the disaster that took place with the 2006 tournament that never did reach conclusion. It took too long between matches and games were postponed endlessly and there was a round robbin format that had a winners and losers bracket, etc. Etc.

For the 2007 tournament, it will be like the 2004 and 2005 tournaments, which were all single elimination. One and Done!
You lose, you are out. No replacements either. If you lose a teammate during the tournament or they can't make a match, then it's a forfeit. Period. If both teams can't schedule their match then both will be gone, unless one team demonstrated actual effort to scheduling their match.

There should be a limit to the number of teams too. Perhaps a Sweet 16? The seedings will be drawn from a hat.
Number one plays number eight on one side and the same on the other side. That's a total of 8 matches in round one.
Then 4 matches in the quarterfinals and 2 matches in semifinals and then the championship. It can all get done within two weeks too.

2004 Bolo, Jangles and HankstaTanksta (defeated Dar, Ben & LC50)
2005 Regeant X, Tally Ho and Lonewolf (defeated????)
2006 No champ decided
