Can't be higher than these
$pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = "32";
$pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = "32";
$pref::Net::PacketSize = "450";
But I guess putting them bigger can "help" as the rates are very low.
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
You need to delete the pref.cs.dso first in order to get the pref.cs register the changes on the values. They may help tiny bit if you have a dsl connection the settings are set for dial-up or something similar. No, you won't go faster, but you may experience less lag than usually ie the game could run little bit better.

Scripting!?!?!? I just danced ysterically for about 5 minutes and the sounds stopped. No biggie.
I love my randylion
Why don't you just turn your music up?
drowns out the screams of my victims nicely.
:)
What I do is turn the sound off, and turn on my iPod. That way, no sound on TT, and if mom tells me to do something for her, I can't hear her. XD
^ well I didn't mean turn up the music in the game... :)
Im quite sure this will only work on low-end computers.

...he says as he eagerly changes it... ;)
I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware hidden in the woods... What do YOU do?
Good article from garagegames about those settings. http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=9131
I think the game would benefit a bit if everyone did open those setting up a little. The biggest benefit comes from the servers/hosters crankin there settings up.

Ok after rummaging to try and destroy the tt sounds and music because I wnat to listen to music and after finally finding it
Changed it form 1 - 0 and now no tt sounds ever !! B) B)
Lol ha ha
now this does come to a good finish
after finding this piece of info for mysel fi wondered what else could be found in there
and to my suprise I found this
$pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = "16";
$pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = "32"
Or was the other way around but if u delete ur.dso file and chnage the numbers u will get mor epacket rates... So more = more info and less lagg well worked in shockwave LOL
dunno try it for urself spose if eevry1 does it = faster gameplay?
