I usually play at 1024x768 in a window with detail set to high and anti-aliasing at 2x. My desktop resolution is 1152x862. That lets me get to other things quickly and see my desktop clock so I know when it's time to go upstairs before Mrs. Monkey gets mad at me for forgetting something.
Playing in a window in Linux doesn't create any sort of performance hit, although I've noticed that in Windows it seems to be slower than playing full-screen at the same resolution.

This was over in the modding forum, and wasn't getting many replies, so I figured I would post it here too. :)
I ask this because I just upgraded from a 32MB Nvidia GeForce4 MX to a 128MB nVidia GeForce Ti4600.
I thought this would allow me to play above 800 x 600 but the game unexpectedly quits. Maybe I've inadvertently dlelted a file while dropping in new maps.
Any way, please post the following.
