Can anyone here give me some info about what ports (UDP/TCP) TT uses to get info from the main server? Naturally, when I select online play nothing shows up but I think that may be because of firewall settings. However, I have not found any info about what method TT uses to connect to the internet. If anyone here can give me some info I would be very grateful.

UDP 28000 for a dedicated server by default. A second server will then try and use 28001, then 28002 etc.

Goto the port forwarding configuration of your router (look it up if u dont know where it is)

Make sure that requests using UDP port 28000 is set to go to your computer's private IP address...

If there is no such feature (like older routers) then u can goto DMZ mode...this exposes your computer to the internet directly without the routers security...make sure u have a sofware firewall installed if u do this..just put it in dmz only when hosting and not any other time....this is a last resort option....should be well documented with your router

So, if I am looking for a game I would need to exspose udp 28000? Or is that if I am hosting a game. I think you meant if I am looking for a game but I want to make sure.
