I recently switched from dial up to a 3mb cable system. When I go to TT the game is very jerky and slow like I'm on a 14.4 connection. I've optimized the Rwin's etc. And it doesn't seem to help.

Have 768ram, 64mb video card (nvidia) 1.82mhz processor etc. I don't see why the game played better on dialup unless there is a setting in TT I don't know about.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can u load web pages faster than u could on dialup??

It might be your rez is set too high or your video drivers need an update. I had that problem (though your system kicks mines ass) and I'm on cable. Though I cant see it with that much ram, but its something to try.

Well may be the server's conection ping is over than 600. :) that's will be slow of coruse

Im DSL it's also slow in 600 pings ;).

Crap man....there are hundreds of my isp users that have done the test recently...all have gotten over 2000k down and 100k up. Mine is 125k down and 75k up....SUCK...just sent the info to my isp...im ready to ream some ass....

OK. I reloaded the beast and now am running raid0!!....now my bios or something is hosed cause it takes 15 tries to boot up without bios shutting itself off...says my CPU settings are off but they havent changed....GRRRRrrr

....seems that when I bypass the router I get my speed back....makes no sense because my other machine had the speed thru the router but not this one.....im still working on it...i have to make use of what I have and cant replace anything...no $

No scrum 4 me last night...probably wont b tonight either...
