1. Throw out your Mac.
2. Get a Windows PC

Problem solved!

LGM

^ works fine, but it's just Office... Not a Windows environment.

^^^ Defile? That's more like rubbing soap on a part of it, trying to make it better when it's impossible on a Mac computer. ;)
^^^^ W00t w00t!

'tis siimple enough.
Launch VPC - insert XP install disk - follow on screen instructions.

@ each of you who has never used a Macintosh computer and disparages the advantages of a truly User Friendly operating system I offer the following advice...

With your left hand reach up and take a firm grasp on your right ear. Next, with your right hand reach up and take a firm grasp on your left ear. Finally, yank your head from your rectum!! ;)

Understand from someone who began programming in 1962 and who consulted through much of the Eighties, that MicroSoft does not dominate the market either by the quality of its operating system or of its software.

There are two reasons MS dominates the market.

Firstly, in the Seventies when Apple had the largest base in the gaming sector Steve Jobs made the inexcusable error of abandoning the games market.

Secondly, US businessmen, the primary purchasers of micro-computers in that same period, employing the sound reasoning that has driven both GM & Ford into bankruptcy, resisted purchasing any computer product that did not carry the IBM imprimatur. Which MS DOS did since Bill Gates is the person who plagiarized much of the DEC OS and sold it to IBM as his own creation. And because these same US businessmen sought the advice of hardware personel rather than software personel when purchasing computers -(which is much like asking a Chevrolet salesman what brand automobile you should buy)- and since Intel based machines could be guaranteed to keep hardware personel employed in large numbers for the forseeable future, those "bit diddlers", of course, recommended MS DOS.

So, the MS dominance of the microcomputer market is the result of a bad decision by Jobs and the ever predictable short-sightedness & ignorance of the US businessman.

...granpa sluggy who wants to read no more of the nonexistant superiority of MS driven machines.
