Page : <1> :

Hi , I want to have a special scrum goal animation made.

I'm looking for a scrum goal animation which is easier to see thru. I find that many campers hid behind the goal and because of the animation (of Scrum goal) it is difficult to aim correctly at them while shooting through the goal. Please start from Square scrum goal since I use that one.

Can someone make me one and post it here?

Thanks ahead of time. ;)

There's some good ones in the Skin Library.

-z- made a great Electric Goal that's very easy to see through.

Ah nice , but I use the square scrum goal... I never miss with this one as circle goal...!

I will look in skins library..and edit my request.

Thanks KBC.

I've got about 3 or 4 more transparent goal animations. I *think* most of them are available in the skin library, but I could be wrong about that. I don't have the square goal though, so I don't know if they'll work or not. If a regular animation will work, let me know and I can package up whatever's not in the library and send to you.

If they won't work, send me a copy of the current animation you have so I can see what would be necessary to craft new versions for it.

Huh? Square?

Yep. The REAL goal is actually a square. The VISUAL goal is a circle. That's why sometimes you score when you don't actually seem to enter the circle (and vice versa).

Way back when -Z- crafted a square goal that accurately reflects the goal bounds, but it's not widely disseminated. I think only a small handful of people have it. Well, at least *I* don't have it, and most screenshots you see don't have it either.

I have it TMO and will send it to your email in profile. Have I leaked out a secret advantage I have been playing with for a while. 8o

Thanks ahead of time TMO for your help. My reticle is red so no red in the animation.

*shrug* I don't know how much of an advantage it actually is, as it only matters on those 4th and Inches plays, which don't actually happen all that often (say 5%, or 1 in 20, which is stretching it I'd say). And even of all the 4th and Inches plays, how many times have you apparently gone through the goal and not scored? About 10% at most I'd say. So in 10% of 5% of the times you enter the goal, knowing the boundaries matters. 1 in 200 times. So if you typically only score 6 points in a game (a typical high score in team or indy), it only matters 1 time on average out of every 33 games.

It's hip to be square.

@ Delta: Any Skin can go on the Square goal, but if you like I can make a Transparent goal with a boarder at the top so you know where its placed. Or I could tint the goal green/blue/red so its easier to see.
