Good luck to you and your family, Jacob, and let God's Blessing shine on your family for your generosity.
If we had the room, we would bring one of the irsh kids to our house for a bit during the olster project. Good luck dude, god is good, all the time.
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
Hope your family gets the money %) and I hope the adopted kids are worth it 8o hahaha
@Jacob - So you're getting the 4 kids after the mother dies? Looking at the website, it doesn't look to be too expensive. Is it going to be around $20K for all of them? That's a bargain! A friend is adopting a single Chinese girl and they're already in the $30K range.
Hope it works out.
Glad to know im not the only christain in the room now, never new u wemt tp church Jacob :o
That's amazing, Jacob. It would be great if you could share your experience with us. Sounds like a great subject for a blog!
Ahmen ;)
Best of luck to ya. It takes a lot of determination to do something like this. You're in our prayers.
I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

@Jacob - I can't help but be the wet blanket. Its that last statement you made.
This is going to cost a lot of $ but God will make a way.
Why do you think that? It should already be within your family's means to adopt these children AND take care of them. Hopefully, that's the situation.
God is GOOD. Anonymous donated $30.000! We haven't even ask for donations or anything and we already have it all. (all the money)
Rabban, our family is doing really bad $ wise so getting for kids for 25 K is a lot. Yes we are going to take care of them.
I don't really know when we get them...
Lol smeagol...

My family is adopting an Ethiopian Family of four.
this is what one of the agency workers says about the family:
The Belete family is absolutely charming! I met them in June and really liked them. It's quite a touching story. The father has died, the mother is very ill and the 13 year old sister basically cares for all the kids and her dying mother as well. They really need a family. The oldest girl is Shitaye, about 13 years old. The only boy is Isayas and he is about 12. He is in 7th grade and so is Shitaye. By Ethiopian standards this means they are excellent students. The little girls are absolutely darling as you will see on the DVD. Sarah is about 5 and Tseganesh is about 4.
This is going to cost a lot of $ but God will make a way.
