Hi all

As usual need some help with Paradise Lost. When first in game everything is fine, but at the game restart all the emitters on the weapons stop working. In order to fix this I have to exit and rejoin at the end of each game, which as you can imagine is a tad annoying...............

I have checked into things as far as I can and everything seems to be ok, so any theories on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

Are your emitters in your special.cs file?

Yes... I am strange XD I have noticed this. Maybe try and get rid of that big foggy thing that pops out... No offense, but it laggs up for me and it gets annoying. Maybe it is causing too much lag and then it just shuts down?

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

I think I might have an idea. I was chattin' with Dazz on skype. He said he got the textures for the emitters from the Skin Library... Did anyone else have no extra load for those texture, or is it just me? Anyways, that could be it.

^ fair comment but its not that causing the problem (anyhow I kinda like the brain blowup thing lol). Only on game restart if I am in the server does this problem happen. If I am not in the server then everything works fine even on game restart, have checked this with other players, the emitters only stop when I am in the game at the restart.

Well, I think mine is the cause for many problems that are all similar. In fact, I have had this problem. Just don't use any special textures from now on (that is really the best thing I can think of right now).

^ Thanks Canned looks like I will just have to persevere with the problem, thats life................

The server will be up again in a few days when I finally discover how to port forward my new router. If anyone knows how to do it with one of these Cisco SB101 I would welcome the help as their support is next to useless :[ infact am on hold (and have been for 30 mins) right now to their tech support line, could be here sometime and getting old (and annoyed) quickly.......................lol

Yeah, I had the same problem. Sometimes it's just best to move one, sadly :(....
