Well... I've decided to go SLI, and I need to know what else I will need, if anything. I currently have a 6600GT , and am thinking of getting either another 6600gt , or a 6800 (haven't found one that supports SLI, and is AGP... So if someone can help me out I would apreciate it). I still need a MOBO suggestion (the one I have now, as much as I like it, doesn't support SLI :( ). Will I need anything else? Can you suggest another card? Anything else to add?

I found SLI a bit overkill IMO.

I have a single 6600GT and I am happy with it. It does great for what I need it for.

Racer, it's a great card by itself, I just like to tinker... That and I want to be able to run graphics on high on some of the higher-end games.

I did some research and there is no SLI on AGP. You must use PCI-E.

Yep, you're right, I was looking around and found that out myself. I figured if I had an SLI supported AGP card I could do it without PCI though. I think I'm just going to ebay this card, and get a PCI MOBO, and a 7800gt, or gtx (not sure which yet). But thanks anyway. :P

I have also a 6600GT as my graphic card. Looks pretty popular.

My Uncle runs this SLI thing its weird,, He plays 10 Games High-End games I once went on his computer played THink Tanks and it Zooooped!...... ;)

I just got 2 of my friends to get 6600gt's. :P
I think I've made up my mind on a 7800gtx. They seem to be pretty good cards, and I can go for SLI later on if I need to.
UFO - SLI is pretty much used to get the most performance out of the cards currently out there... Or to just give you a little boost in performance without having to buy a 'bigger' card.
