I will give an example of how good defense in team scrum can sometimes be the best offense (I'm not even talking about camping/goal tending).

I was only able to play one full game of team scrum last night but what a game it turned out to be! We were able to fill the server quickly with an amazing collection of players for an cool 5 on 5 battle. The teams were:

Green
Blind Cide
Paisano
Gamera
Dlael
Get Some

Blue
Bolo
Rogue
PREY
KKB
Knuckler (ST)

It was tight the whole match, back and forth. The score was tied at 10-10 as the final 30 seconds started counting down. I saw Knuckler with the flag far away and I knew what he was setting himself up to do. He was going to the launch pad which would propel him right into the goal on the other side of the map for the victory. I knew this because in the previous warm up game he did the same cool move a couple of times against me and Blind Cide. Well, I hauled butt across the map to the launch pad and barely reached it as he launched off....BAM! I side swiped him just enough to throw him off line and he missed the goal!
Bolo was able to grab the flag and made his way back to the same launch pad and again I raced over there and this time was able to catch the flag and hold onto it. I backed up and raced into the goal for the go ahead score, 11-10! The final 10 seconds ticked away as I backed into the same goal for a FB to seal the deal, 12-10! An upset victory against a formidable blue squad led by Bolo, Rogue and PREY.

So you see, sometimes playing good defense can lead to the winning score. Use your head and try to predict what your opponent will do and you just might prevent it.

Of course I grabbed a screeny. :)

By the points scored the final score should of been 10-10. Who was there before?? That scored 2 goals for the green team?

Excellent True Story. I love this game when skilled players are on both teams and all wish to play as a team.

@Pedro
Gamera scored two very important and spectacular goals and had many great passes and goal saves thanks to his shooting. If you look at the bottom it says gamera has left the game.

@Ho
The only definition I could find for your word is this:
Jaboo (n)
The tendency of a player to become more power and/or more irascible when under the control of the DM due to the player's absence
Origin: Ricky's character Jaboo became a dick under Mick's control.

Notice the tank skin? Hanksta's famous steel chrome skin. I have a copy of this skin with my name on the license plate but forgot to use that one.

I love playing defense and blocking a good player from scoring...something it looks like many had a tough time doing with you Pai. Wish I'd been there...looks like a fun crowd.
