Just a quick comment for all those that catch it, but PTT is about to go offline (within about half an hour from the time this is posted) for a few hours while some critical maintenance takes place and the lots of stuff is done to the database etc to improve performance. Hopefully this will only take a couple of hours, but may take many more than that.

I found a small bug when u click on the skin topic in the forums it gives u 34 pages even though there are really only 8 in that category and the othr 26 pages r blank

Heh you're right. Thats because it was a new addition to this site while I was busy changing all the pages in another area so as not to get them muddled up. Thought I had remembered all the recent site additions, but looks like I forgot that one.

The forum pages bug should be fixed and members list should be back up now.

Hmmm...looking at the Members page with OmniWeb 5b8 with the same effect. Your pttmember class is set so that if the row is not full when the titlebar class arrives, it will just place the titlebar text into the current table. Looking at the code, it looks like you should use heading tags for the Moderators and Members. There are other ways (CSS is rather convoluted in all the ways things can be done), but replacing <div> with <h3> may be the easiest. I'm no artist, so this method may not give the formatting you are looking for.

I intend to make that section completely different anyway. At the moment its not that scaleable if loads of new members join so the whole presentation will change there.

CF lag is greatly improved. There are occasional moments where things pause, but they are rare. Runs pretty smooth on 3vs3, The game is fun again! (Playing from California, USA)

Ctf is slighly smoother but there are plenty of lag freezes as well as that slight jitter that impairs shooting. Bolo, haha, chief, lonewolf, t raider, and a few others played earlier and most of us called lag...

1. Unread threads only shows those topics that have had new comments posted to them since you last looked at the thread. Are you sure there are threads missing from this list? You'll never see a thread you have just replied to in this list for instance, as you have just read it. Can you see other unread threads in the individual forums that arent showing up in the 'unread posts' page? Seems fine here, but trying to look into it.

2. Yeah, funky characters in player names are helping to screw up that section.

3. Well, the list shows comments, and each link will (at some point soon) jump to the comment within the thread as opposed to just the thread itself, the fact that threads are listed more than once was intentional. Really, its the last 15 posts you have made and in which threads they were.

1. Yes I know. All those funky characters which people think are soooo cool, cause a whole host of problems in all sorts of areas. Particularly with the current games and trying to get stats implemented properly. I really wish people wouldnt use all those silly characters personally.. Just creates 50 times more work and I dont have the time to spare.

2. You must have created a second account instead of just changing your name in your profile.

No I didnt lol, I only created 1 acount and when I changed I changed the player name, but that acount can be deletred if u want as it isnt mine.

Well you created 1 on March 20 and the other on April 12.

Both have almost the same IP and have pretty much the same settings applied to them (including both having Portugal selected as country)

Never mind though, I'll get round to deleting the non-used one some point soon.

Lag on CTF seems to be better. I still get the disconnect in the upper right corner & the occasional 4 second lag out with a full server but is has improved so it's fun again & people don't leave because of lag.
