You don't need the Torque Game Engine to get into peoples mods. If it says
You do not have the correct version of the Torque Game Engine or the related art needed to connect to this server, please contact the server operator to obtain the latest version of this game.
Then you have a terrain or shape file etc. That has the same name as the one you're supposed to be downloading, or you may have an older version of that same item. Find out from the person who made the mod what the file name of the object, and then delete it.
