Howdy Y'all!!

From the looks of my WWIII thread it looks as though many of you (and more importantly the media) have no feelings for our Jewish brothers in Israel.

The very first day Israel became a state in 1948, Israel extended an olive branch to all of it's Arab neighbors. The next day they were invaded.

Israel has endured much hardship and has taken every political avenue it could to ensure peace throughout many wars.

It seems as though Israel's neighbors would use the times of peace to build up more arms only to get their balls busted time and time again.

This time Israel had 2 soldiers kidnapped, and deadly rockets loaded with ball bearings shot at them from LEBANON.

Israel responded with heavy air strikes aimed at Hezbollah positions and small to medium land incursions in and out of Lebanon.

Israel is the criminal in most of your eyes including the drive-by media.

Disgusting....

Also the land that Israel "took" was given back and they said that that all they wanted was the land the Israel "took" so israel, not wanting warfare, gives it to them because they where getting bombed. So what do they do?

They send 500 more missiles. Israel sends a couple back and the media is up there.... Everything.

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

I sure hope PTT hasn't gone anti-Semitic, too... Just don't link Israel's actions to all of us. Like I've said before, just because I'm Jewish doesn't mean I approve of everything every Jewish country does...

It's not anti-Semitism, it's opposition to Israel's crimes against Palestine and Lebanon. And also, define anti-Semitism: hating the religion or hating the "race" of people that has come from the religion?

The land Israel 'took' was theirs from biblical times. Then the arabs came to take it because of jerusalem. So really Israel is just defending their territory.

Israel pushed innocent Palestinians off their land. Why should those who were pushed off have to pay for what their ancestors had done? It's like saying that John Doe should die because his great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was a slaveowner.

Did israel not give them the land back? And when they did didn't the Palestinians bomb them with 500 missiles from that land alone?

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

KentuckyKillBilly, tuchexviper,

Imagine if the government kicked you off of your land and said, hey guess what... This land was taken from the native amercians years ago and now this land is the nation of Mohicanland. You'll need to leave and anyone who stays will subject to constant harassment, few rights, suspected of terrorism and given few opportunities.

This is the Palestinian plight.

Lots of back and forth on this topic, but how about some background?

I have a link with some of that. I just read this article while on vacation, and it has some good points:
