Goodness... The people that comment there are saying tsuff like GEORGE BUSH IS A GAY FAG! And then they say OPEN YOUR EYES AND IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB... OR YOUR STUPID......

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

The reason the towers fell was due to the amount of jet fuel left on the planes as well as the steel girters* where not protected with asbestos, which is a fire retardant.

The planes flew only a short while with virtually full tanks of fuel.
Jet fuel is HIGHLY flamable and makes intense heat.
The girters became red hot and basically began to buckle.

Inside job?
Give me a break...

I saw that and watched it about a week ago, and im glad they cut out the impacts so assholes wont be able to make anti-bush music videos about them. Its insane just seeing all the people running for their lives just to keep from suffocating in the smoke alone.

That was horrible... Why did I just watch that?

Although I don't think this is the thread for arguments, after that sobering video, I think I have to correct kkb on something - Jet Fuel, does make intense heat and IS highly flammable, but it burns away within minutes and does not fuel sustained fires which would melt girders.

Bloop, leaving this topic...

Yeah but the stuff inside the building keeps burning. And KKB didn't say they melted. He said they weakened.

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

Why do we need yet ANOTHER thread about this? Do we really need to add more misery to our daily lives?

Does it freakin matter? It's depressing as hell. Every single time in every thread posted about 9/11, it's either insane conspiracy theories or just another thread to make people feel sad and depressed. (Of course that's not counting the couple of threads intended to commemorate 9/11 and honor the people who died, like say a "Remember 9/11" thread posted on each annual 9/11)

But these are just... Ugh... Enough is freakin enough already.

Depressing as hell? Well it should be. If you just try and forget about this whole thing, then youre worse then they are.

Bull. I'm not saying we should FORGET it, it's just we needn't be reminded every waking moment of every day. It's called "moving on with our lives". Guess how many people died during D-Day? What about the Oklahoma City bombing? Terrible things happen and we mourn on the anniversaries of the tragic events... But if we live in the past we cannot move forward into the future and live our lives. I'm a New Yorker, for someone to suggest that "I don't care" is an insult! XO My friend's FATHER died in 9/11. I, like my friend, have to go on living. We can never forget, but we aren't going to live in fear and grief, we're going to push on and do something constructive.

So get it in your thick heads, we can't stop the world to grieve every day, and we shouldn't let bad news dictate our lives. It's better to "Remember 9/11", not "Re-live 9/11".
