It was a technique I showed Monica one day on a private server. I will describe it in the best way possible...

It' was spawned from this primitive move: An attacking tank charges at you, in a forward motion.

Normally, you would either:

A) Counter by using the tank's speed against it, or slamming against the tank
b) Running away to safer ground for sniping, perchance...

My technique involves a little bit of part a. Basically, when a tank charges at you directly, strafe to the left or right going backwards, while 'curving' your shots in the direction of your movement. If you do this right, you will start to see your opponent smoke, yet the bullets fly right past them as if they're missing.

Against many foes(Vets & n00bs alike), this technique not only delivers massive damage, but actually saves ammo!

Here's an example of me using it against someone good...

One day, in DASH BASH, (like almost a year ago) AO and another blue team member charged at me on top of the biggest hill on Medulla Mesa.
Well, I was smoking up some, and all I had was three full rounds left! Well, they finally cornered me, and I used the move. Before, both of them were at full health, but
when I used my technique (which I have dubbed 'Swording'), I was able to kill them both in ONE, yes ONE, full round!

Of course, it's not without its drawbacks:

1) You will EASILY get caught from behind if you curve your tank's path incorrectly.
2)If you're laggin', don't EVAR count on using this move! EVAR!
3)It's not recommended for close-quarters combatants. This will only curve your turret AWAY from your opponent, resulting in your demise!

The pros:

1) EXCELLENT against heavies (2 rounds of 'Swording' will level their arses!! For Med & Light: ONE round!)
2) Works great for multiple enemies. *You must time it right*
3) Works wonders for enemies that hit speed boosters! WOOTNESS for mid-air sorties!
4) Once you master this, everything else pretty much falls into place ( at least for shooting )

Well, there you have it. A technique that I've coined myself in hopes that it will help you TTers out there to show your opponent what you're made of!
As of now, only 2 people can use this move: me, and my old buddy merv. But who knows, maybe someone else will come up with a move that's
just as effective, if not more!

Although both versions of TT have been known to work, it's definitely easier with the Shockwave Version! *points to AutoTurn discovery*

Sounds cool, I'll have to try it. But the heavy turns so fast that it will hit you while you are "swording".

Also, it seems like this works better on laggy opponents.

I have done the curving technique ever since I joined TT.

Glad to see other people know about it too :)

That's good to know.. I thought just me and merv just knew about the technique!

BTW, have you ever tried it in the air? Works great for those 'runners' who like to run on speed pads!

I just made a very big discovery: 'Swording' doesn't work on Boss Tanks! I spent 4 hours trying to kill Zeus with this technique, and it failed every time!
