I am in the process of creating a comic book.

And if you know me from my post I will have
extra-dimension in it.

But I need help with a new color that is not on
the color wheel.

How would I explain and later show this color.

No matter how hard I think I keep comming up
with the same colors...LMAO

But really, if anyone out there has a good imagination
just post here with whatever you come up with.

Thanks

Surely you're trying to make up something that doesn't exist - a colour which isn't on the colour-wheel? Inwhich case why bother being blinkered by "colour" at all? Try using other properties of the paper...

Think texture?
you could use colour (assuming you take the time to figure out how to do it) with a different gloss or matt effect, so that the light shines differently on these "magical-uber-colour" areas?
embossed, raised edges? Pattern? Mirror?

Cut out gaps where your "uber-magical-made-up" colour is, and assuming your comic book isn't in book format, your colour is whatever the reader has behind... You mentioned an "extra dimension", did you not?... Or the "new colour" could be an effect from the pages behind.

Alternatively, just think luminous - glow-in-the-dark - shiny...

^ I like that idea...texture, negative space, patterns... Not sure which way would work best, but great idea, bloop...

If you are doing some sort of media, think glow-in-the-dark or shiny. If you are doing a computer, do a slow, slightly pulsating form of a bright neon red. These have ahd the biggest impacts for me. I dunno, I have a thing for neon red. :P

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Neon red?? Never heard of it.

Vash,
I have studied color theory in both the traditional way and the photographic way ( which shares principles but is slightly different ). If you are looking for inspiration allow me to share with you the following....

In my first color photography class, my instructor ( who happened to be your stereotypical hippy type) took us down to the city park and had us sit in a circle facing inwards. He asked us to close our eyes as he walked around talking to us about the perception of color. As he did this he would occasionaly reach around from behind us and rub our closed eyelids gently in a rotating motion. This produced a colliediscope sensention of color within our eye without the need of a light scource. Weird to be sure....but interesting non-the-less.

I feel your elusive "new color" may be found by recreating this experiment with a trusted friend. Let me know how it turns out.
