Hey guys today when I was playing I noticed this:

Look at the ground!! It is so detailed! I never experienced such event like this! XD

Is this normal? Also where is this file if I want to get rid of it some day?

Hey yeah and I found out that it doesn't work on normal maps like Frudian Flats. How can I make it work on those maps too? :)

Thanks.

It can be made to work on normal maps by naming it the default terrain skin names. What map is this?

This map is from the MonkeeMods maps but don't know the name. Also how do I do that Master TMO? Can you show me step by step please?

Oh and also how do I get rid of the altered ground skin when I get fed up with it? :o

CompUComp - actually, I'm not sure which file is causing it. If it's the terrain itself, rename them over your RedTerrain01.jpg, RedTerrain02.jpg, etc (ThinkTanks/game/data/terrains/RedTerrain/). If it's the Terrain Detail file (I suspect it is), rename it over your detail1.jpg file (ThinkTanks/game/data/shapes/terrain/details/).

When you get tired of it, replace it with your original again.

Its the detail file. Someone might have made a new path to it in the mission file.

New TerrainBlock(Terrain) {
rotation = "1 0 0 0";
scale = "1 1 1";
detailTexture = "~/data/terrains/details/detail1";
terrainFile = "./TT1_2.ter";

Normal Detail

Detail from Torque Engine Also in Nap's Expansion Pack.

Oh thanks KBC! So should I just replace the old detail1.jpg with the new detail from Torque Engine? :o

I think that will work. But not sure enough! :)

Thanks everything worked out! :)

The wired thing is that mods that are created with Mod Wizard and that comes with a.mis tends to not follow the path
~/data/terrains/details/detail1 . It only follows the path like this game/data/missions/terrains/details/detail1 .

I figured out this today and boy was it just hovering thorugh my head! :P

Thanks in advance.

mine...name it "detail1.jpg" and place in "game/data/missions/terrains/details" folder...back up your originals!
