Yes, the trouble I'm having is with getting "Dash Plus" to properly install....and work. I know the install is same as original Dash Codes, but for some reason, I can't get my Admin Password to work. Roo gave me advice a while ago to delete the prefs.cs DSO files for TT and Dash so they would recompile properly w/the new information, thus allowing me to log in as Admin. No good. I don't know who else may have installed this particular folder, but I'd like to know how they did it, or if there's errors to fix somewhere in the foler itself. I'm not that brainy to find what I don't know about. :S :[
Thanks alot,

KC

Well, to log in you have to put /adm "pass here". Change the pass behind $pref::Server::Admin Password = pass.
Don't forget to add this to your main.cs! Exec("game/server/dash/main.cs"); 5

Hope this helps,
Weasel :)

KC
Change it in ~/server/dash/pref.cs - save and then delete that dso
AND change it in ~/server/pref.cs and delete that dso too

Somtimes the game gets confused with the double entry and doesn't auto update
the change without manual intervention
hth (hope this helps)

You can always email me........

@Weasel,
Thanks for the help, but I already know to do that. :)
@Roo,
Please tell me if this method is right. I'm going to completely delete Dash 0.7 and install Dash Plus, just as I did Dash 0.7. Then, I'll change the pass in both TT/prefs, and Dash/prefs. Next, I'll delete both their DSO's Then launch TT.
I'm gonna try it again. Thanks :o

Ok

Here is what I did
I manually added the functions I wanted into my dash codes
and added the command for it in the codeaction function

Works like a charm :)

In reality, my dash codes is version 0.05 but with stuff that has been added over the years :)

Sounds like a plan!

Don't worry this in not uncommon - sometimes it just gets stuck

@Roo,
Ok thanks! :)

@Warfare,
Thanks! I was wondering if I could just "add" to the existing Dash Codes. XD
One question though.

I manually added the functions I wanted into my dash codes
and added the command for it in the codeaction function

Ok, so that means add the desired code in Dash/Codes.cs right? Then I just need to know where/what the codeaction function is.

Thanks alot,
KC

@napalm,
That's basically the original Dash Codes w/a few add-ons, like "Clone"; "Health"; "Make Admin". Roo has it, or I can email it to you if you want.

The codeaction function is at the bottom of the codes.cs file

Its the one with all the if else's in it

Dash Plus? You could find a better name :P
I never gave my admin script the name Art Crazy Ultra Plus (or something), guess why :P

*waits for BT to answer the darn e-mail!*

@Warfare,
Thanks alot. I'm only a little familiar w/that file though, because I once fixed a "typo" in "bounce" in the codeaction function section. I've never "added" a whole new code before, but I'll work on it.
Thanks again. :)
