*cough* Write a new tank datablock *cough*
Geez nathan you always gotta introduce your "simple" answers and ruin all the fun.. 8(
This would have to be client side, so, maybe you could just copy the dts file, name it tank06, make a seperate skin for it, and because it was named "tank06" it might realize that it is also a tank, and show up in the selection screen. I'm gonna try that.
And when you do tell me if it worked.
I think I tried that once(or something like it)and if I remember correctly it didnt work. Not saying you shouldnt try it, you might get it to work, but it didnt for me.

I got this idea, that say you could use a basic program made in say visual basic that would replace a certain file in TT with another. So you could say use this program so it would replace say a tank skin with a modded one but when you exited that program it would return the tank skin to normal.. I own visual basic so I might to to make this if possible.
