Very nice decisions for a budget computer Michael. I almost have the same think except for a few differences in the case and optical drive. I hope u get it for Christmas!

Question:
Has anyone tried the athlon 64 3500+? I was looking at it over the 3200+, but im not sure.
EDIT: @ Bomber: "Niiice I want that instead of this lol" Why did you go with a 200 and a 40 gig HD?

I own This computer case loaded with...

200 GB Hard Drive
CD/DVD/DVD-ROM burner (48x/32x/30x)
Socket A Athlon 2600+
MachSpeed V4MDMP Socket A motherboard

And it all cost $672... I saved myself money by ripping out parts from my old pc such as:

NVidia GeForce FX 5600 XT
Sound Blaster PCI 5.1 sound card

I'm probably going to take out a stick of memory, then sell the one I have atm on ebay. It will give me a little spare cash incase I want to get something a little better before I completely finish the one im building.

Hiho ! Nice on da outside ! What viruses does it come with? Or do you have to get them seperately ? XD

@mike

I would suggest a intel mother board (D925XCV) incase you decide to overclock your

Computer. Intel developed some software (Desktop Control Center) that makes it

A whole lot easier to do this. Here's a linky for more details

Intel board with an AMD processor? Wouldn't that couse a few compatability problems?

Trade it for a p4... With a p4@2.6gh when overclocked could give you 3.2 gh.

No, AMD's give you more for your money. Just because you can get the speed to be faster doesn't mean that your computer will run faster. Intel just uses the fact that there proccessors need to run at a faster speed to get the same results to there advantage. This is my case. Case.

It is low priced and has everything you need. I Have a ATI 9800, but had some problems with it, because they sent me a defective card. The good thing is that I got a 3 year warrenty, so everything worked out fine.

@ Racer.
Your graphics card seems to be not high end. Can you run high graphic games such as Call Of Duty?

Yes I can, I run NFSU2 all the time. However, I want to upgrade to a 5700.

Hahaha, trade a Athlon for a p4? Hehe...funny. I mostly game...and usually dont run very many apps at once so ill stick with the athlon. ;)

EDIT: BTW, has anyone had any problems with the power supply that comes with your cases? I've heard that some have inconsistent power, and I really wouldnt want to fry anything.
