Some piece-o-crap, scum sucking, bottom dweller stole my "Bush/Cheney" campaign sign out of my front yard!

Sure, disagree with my politics, that's fine, but stealing my sign is different. I suppose the culprit is all "free speech" and such until the opposition wants to be heard, then it's time to keep that other guy quiet.

I mean, I'm in a great location with lots of through traffic, so plenty of people could see the sign. And to top it all off, I'm not to only victim. I swung by party HQ in town today to pick up a replacement and they were out of the signs. Seems they're being stolen all over the county so that those people who want to post them in their yards, can't.

That's messed up, man.

How do you know he/she didn't steal it to place it on their own front lawn? :o

I have seen this alot around here...there are ALOT of signs along the highways, and EVERY group of them has been HIT by one side or the other!

One intersection will have only Democratic signs, surrounded by empty frames....Then 1/4 mile later, its all rebublicans...surrounded by empty frames!

The people who do these things should be DEPORTED to some nice BANANA REPUBLIC in south america!

It's like some kind of war where I live. The other day, a guy I know had his Bush/Cheney bumper signs stolen and replaced with Kerry signs, and a friend of my mom's had one of her windows with a Kerry sticker on it smashed by a rock. People are constantly writing to the paper's editorial board to complain about similar "travesties'.

Agreed, Rabban, not cool. I spent two hours this past Sunday morning cleaning the egg off of my wall and concrete porch right next to a window that has a Kerry-Edwards sign in it. We live in a condo and no signs - except sale/rent signs - are allowed on the lawn since it's association property, not individual property. (It'll be so nice to move into a house one day, even though the honey-do list will balloon!) However, my neighbors across the drive placed a Bush-Cheney sign in their lawn yesterday. Will I sneak out later and take it down? Will I even "report" them to the homeowners association? No. I'll just feel like I've contributed in a constructive, responsible, adult manner after I spend this coming weekend volunteering for the local Kerry-Edwards Victory 2004 campaign.

How do people expect to build a better country if they're spending their time tearing other Americans down? They apparently are the ones that don't care.

Speaking of which, Cadc, I fail to find the humor in what Ben said.

I steal signs like crazy but I also add a twist. I grab a brown paper bag and fill it with dog droppings. I then light the stuffed bag on fire and knock on their door. You can here me for blocks running away down the street giggling while carrying a bevy of Bush/Cheney signs.

I saw a guy running down the street in Florida with a bunch of stolen absentee ballots and several kerry signs.

Sucks about the signs getting stolen. There was a case recently here in my neighborhood that made the news. A lady had a political sign in the window of her apartment which faces the street. The management company told her to take it down and she protested, siding freedom of speech. The sign was inside the apartment, therefore they couldn't touch it. Sign is still there today and she says it'll stay there until after the election.

I don't like Kerry... I think he's a gimp... But I'm going to vote for him anyways because I'd take a gimp over a monster any day of the week.

Don't kid yourself. Iraq was about Oil and Money! Nothing more, nothing less. Bush does not care about the safety of the American People. If he did, he would've gone after the people who were actually responsible for what happened on 9/11. Instead, he played us like a fiddle and used that horrible day as an excuse to attack a nation that posed absolutely NO threat to the US what so ever.

He did so without the support of NATO, which is fundamentally wrong! He's broken more treaties than any other president in the history of the US. Including the Geneva treaty which protects our POW's from abuse and mistreatment while in enemy hands. (Way to care about the troops bush!)

This war has put our country on the verge of Bankruptcy, but what does he care. Him and his business affiliates will be able to retire in the life of luxury because of it. By the way, those "affiliates" I'm referring to are the very people who attacked us on September 11th, 2001!!! THE SAUDI ARABIANS!!! No BS!!! It was the Saudi's that attacked us!!! Facts are facts!!! Bush actually PROTECTED the Bin Ladden family during the wake of 9/11!!!

Bush should be tried before the world court on charges of treason. He's leading the US into a 3rd world war. If you want to be partly responsible for that... Go a head and vote for him...

Kerry, and Kerry's family obtained their money thru hard work and decades of dedication! They've achieved their goals by keeping their sights on the American Dream. Bushes money is Blood money! The blood of every single American troop and countless innocent Iraqi civilians that have all died in vain. Bushes vanity...
