I put TT in another harddrive still to much lag. Close all folders not relating to TT still[ to much lag.
I downloaded Xpack4 and lots of milacy but no lag happened to like 2-3 day. (Got Xpack4 same day as downloaded TT).
Is there any thing that will stop all this form happeiin cause I won't be able to play cause all the servers r either gone or there all red.
Plz send a link or write y u think I'm havin lag plz.
Thx for help.

Lag has more to do with servers and network connections than they do with your machine. As long as you not running other applications at the same time as Think Tanks. Applications like itunes, and Photoshop will eat up your memory and cpu. I suggest running NO other applications but TT if you want the best performance. Other than that, join the servers with the lowest ping to you, has the fewest people allowed in-game, and games without laggards palying.

^do all of that but I already had itunes and photoshop but I don't put them on at the same time. But from that I did all of that.
There is usally 3 ppl on the internet at once but if thats not it then I give up. (2 ppl uses airport and I use cable)(cable pluged into airport)<think thats y but plz post in if theres anything.
thx Des.

Has this lagger theory proven yet? Just interested to know if I always happen to join same game with laggers...

I don't get it. About six months ago I upgrated my computer as my old one broke up. I upgrared from worse to better , but the lag peak has raised on the new computer. The games haven't had anymore same smoothness on them. Some servers I avoid for good, because I know the performance is never good on them, but it was tolerateble on the old computer!

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

@ Triv: TT is old. It was designed to support extremely low-end computers (look at the system requirements). Maybe it has problems handling newer hardware.

@ destroyer: I have no idea, the x-pack worked fine for me. But I'm on a PC ;).

Anoyone playing on wirelss should be beaten and kicked form the servers. The performance is just not that good for gaming. Just look at the performance Rob Zombie get using wireless.

^ I play on wireless and am just fine. Not all people who play with it have bad connection. I have excellent connect and can play pretty good.

I too play with wireless. Yet I recieve hardly any lag. I have excellent connection as well. The only time I start lagging is when there are 10+ ppl in one server.

About Rob Zombie ,he is not lagging he is hiper teleporting... And all server is down when he is playing :'( :(.
About others who lag , atlist we all accept that lag... Rob's lag is.... :S
@Triv ,I upgrated mine too ,and have same problem.
@ Player , I think you have some point here.

Maybe TT has some issues with 64-bit processors?
