Some knob called 'Sensei' was going through the name-calling drill with me tonight -- 'Camper' etc. Not sure why.

It riled me. What can I say. I layed into him and littered the airways with some ungentlemanly (yet unexpletive) words. And BM'd him for a while. I wanted to post 'cause I feel kind of dirty. I like to rise above that stuff usually. Guess it was an off night. Sorry to those that were caught in the cross fire.

Trust me, if think "poopyhead" is name-calling, wait til u meet DEMO's, idiots, imposters (more idiots), and some jealous ppl who just cuss at you for being better than them.

Name calling is never good in TT. Just try to be a god sport. A few hints:

Scrum:
Camping: standing near goal
BMing: dont do it, basically cheating

Team Scrum:
anything goes

It's not the campers and bmers which get to me - they're easy to get around - its the self-righteous a**holes who seem to take upon themselves to make your game miserable because you spawned at the goal when the scrum was coming thus making you "a caaampper".

...and those who think if your guns aim anywhere except the scrumball your a bmer... I don't get that... Surely you should be shooting in such a way as it gives you the best chance of scoring.

Bloop u do have a point. Stray shots do tick ppl off, but spawning at the goal is sheer luck...which should not make you a camper. [hint] ignore script comes in handy if they keep talking about u being a camper if you do this [/hint]

SOme campers do brag about having a high score. Again ignore script. The ignore script isnt/is the best way to settle thisproblem. You could just quit the server and go to a different server.

These r the reasons I hardly play in SHockwave servers unless someone I no like Dark Angel or maybe a freind on TT is on. Shockwave servers are to infectious with DEMO's and Noobs these days that I try to resist going in. If some no0b does come in, I just mess around with them til they leave or until they resort to name calling (they ALWAYS do, or atleast all the ones I meet). IF they are nice Demo's then I just explain how to play.
