Depends on what your computer can handle. How much can your PSU handle?

Also, would you prefer sticking with ATI or nVidia?

Wut Does PSU Mean Also Wut Do U Mean Prefer? Sticking With ATI Nvidia or those video cards?

PSU = power supply unit. Need to know the voltage, 'cause certain video cards require a certain minimum voltage.

And ATI Radeon and nVidia are different brands.

What is your current video card? You can find out by clicking Run on the start menu, then type in the box the following,

Dxdiag

Then click on the display tab, there it will show you what kind of card you have.

How many watts is your power supply? There should be a label on the side of it that tells you. For example, mine's a 500watt SmartPower by Antec.

You may also have insufficent cooling. How many fans do you have in your system?

3 case fans? If so, that should be fine.

Look in the display tab, there should be a box titled Device. Here's what mine says:

Name: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip Type: GeForce 6600 GT
DAC Type: Intergrated RAMDAC
Approx. Total Memory: 128.0 MB

Manufacter: Intel Corporation
Chip Type:Intel(R) 82845G Graphics Controler (My Card Is The One It Game With)
DAC Type:Internel
Apporx. Total Memory: 64.0 MB

OK, it seems you have an internal graphics card? Or is it in a slot? If so what kind of slot? PCI or AGP?

Here's how to tell if you don't already know:

The one farther in, is AGP
The ones that usually has mulitples, is PCI.
