The other night I was playing a game and got kicked for bad behavior. You know what my bad behavior was: 300 ping.. Right after a player recited my ping rate I was ejected from the game. Is this the proper precedure for your admin. To operate with ?

Kamakazy, I wouldn't take it personally. Sometimes when there are feirce games in progress, people will complain that others are dragging down the game. A 300 ping is fairly high. It's certainly not your falut, but please understand that it does affect the entire game. Also understand that many admins will sever high connections for the greater good of the game.

With my dial up my ping is always high, knowing this I never go into a game that is not a think tank server as it disrupts there game with lag and all kind of bad things. So as nap says it's not a personal thing... And yes I had gotten booted out a few times before I understood why.. Now it's no big deal..

If it didn't specifically say you were kicked, it might be because of a netowrk timeout.

Now usually the ping will lower for reasons. Personally, I think its the players decision to leave or not to leave. The ping usually gets better.

That's true Cloud, but for some people who actualy manage their servers and try to provide a good performing place to play there needs to be some sort of interaction. For example I was surprised how well this person from hawaii did, he was using dial-up if you can beleive it. But the issue was of bad performance for the rest of the players. It's not a personal issue, sometimes like in this example there just isn't a good way to connect.

In other cases, the whole game shouldn't suffer because of one persons poor internet connection.
Just trying to keep the games running smoothly.
