I'd like to throw an idea out there and see if there are any bites.

It's not an army, but more of a badge of honor, which could only be worn by people who bought the game on or before September 2003....(thats when I bought it, and it's long enough ago for me to figure that justifies being a veteran.)

It would be a symbol that is somehow impossible to counterfeight, that you have emailed to you by sending a calid GG reciept with a date of purchase on or before September 2003.

Then, you can add it to your name.

The problem is getting something that can't be counterfeighted, or found on a charachter map....I know there are programs out there to create new fonts, perhapse one of us can MAKE a new charachter?

Tell me what you think....it would be a status symbol that can't be stolen, and would let you know if you're going to a room with vets, etc....

Ideas?

You'd get the symbol emailed to you....right now the point is for us to figure out a way to make somethign that can't be coppied by fakes, and to see if enough of us old timers want this to justify the trouble....

Make an image and watermark it. Make the watermark visibility "very high".
Watermarks are basically a padlock on an image that stops most anyone from uploading or tampering with a photo, as far as I can tell.

But coulnd't anyone else make the exact same image? I need something that would only be in the possesion of certain people, and not remakable by others....I'm leaning towards a font creation program....anyone know about those?

... But there could be like a "commie sympathiser" style thing for campers and everyone who agrees with it could have it on their tank or in their name and then they could abuse people in the game
