I was facing moncky in survivor, and all moncky would do is sit behind me and as soon as I got someone down to low health,he would kill 'em,this went on for awhile.

Moncky 16

Me 10

Is this just a crap tactic, like bming in scrum?

Granted, it is a low tactic, but a valid one. Especially early in the game when there's only one victim available, it's not who inflicts the most damage, but who inflicts the last damage. Killing blows are hard to time though. To counter him, try to stay directly between him and the victim. If he shoots you, find a cliff to dive off of. I generally don't dive for accidental damage, but if it's intentional... Over I go. XD

If you want to get really low and dirty, in closed maps with no cliff to dive over, smoke him near to death, then let the nearest greenie take him. He'll generally spend the rest of the game hunting you down though, so be prepared. Also, other players who see you do this are liable to think they're next and take care of you first.

Survivor can be a very subtle game if you really get into it. I like the open maps MUCH better than the closed ones. In the closed map everyone is trying to escape the walls, and if they succeed you might as well give up, 'cause no one's going to get them. And the game is over if TWO people escape. Time will end before one dies. Also, bots know how to navigate an open map, but can't handle closed ones. Radar Range is probably my favorite Survivor map, except for the spawn points within the mist.

To play a "fair" game of Survivor, avoid doing any of the following:
Escaping the maze
Burrowing
Cliff-dwelling
Wounding teammates

"Good" Survivor tactics:
Team-work
Fighting
Running

But, despite what some people think, Survivor is NOT a team game. Only one player can win. Team-work helps you kill your opponents for a longer time and rack up more points, but you have to share those points with your teammates too. As more tanks go green, it becomes more and more likely that they'll be able to kill off blues, and the green force increases in size and power and can kill even easier.

@ Legendary

Moncky tried the same tactic on me in Leopard's once. I went after him and than ran away and began cliff hanging so I just went after someone else, than when I got all weak, he came after me and killed me. It wasn't only me he did that to, like 3 other people he did the same cowardly trick.

Wat's Survivor? I know team bmode but wat is this? Monckeys tactic is stupid so u can just kill him. If u get enough hits by a enemy team member and dive a cliff, for some reason, the score gos to who hit u last but didnt kill u. :'( How can u burrow in a tank!? :o
