I have completed this mod on Freudian Flats.

All blue players spawn in this rock circle.

Proceed through these other circles without being killed by the bosstanks

Finally you slip by and bounce out and get sweet revenge...

Basically the point is to get outside of the big string of circles and not be killed by the BossTanks.

The Bosstanks are incredibly strong and their bullets are crazy powerful. 2 hits for a light tank...

If you manage to get to the end and hit the bounce pad and get out, look out for powerups,

The powerups are super powerful and let you stand a chance against the almighty bosstanks.

If your good you can get ahead of the bosstanks. Really hard though :P

The biggest individual score I have seen in it was 21!!! %)

Paco, I think to make your mod a little more stable and playable is to put 2 or 3 more slots so 7 or 8 human players may enter. I don't think 5 does not cut it because a majority of people favor Impossbile Odds and is higly difficult to pass the bots without all 5 being killed. The last survivor that has reached the end will face a problem with the last 6 bots and they're all after him/her. Nevertheless, this is your mod and you have complete power over it.

Sorry, but I'm not going to add any more slots.

There are a lot of objects in each of these levels, and adding more players will make the server incredibly laggy.
It's already very laggy as it is, ever notice the bullets flying through the wall?
If there are enough people who want to play it, I'll just host another server.

Actually it is very easy to make it out if you use the boss tanks' lame ai to your advantage.
I do have future plans to make a new ai that will change the strategies needed to make it out.
But, I'm gonna wait till all 12 levels are made till I mess with the ai.

Can you host your old mods sometimes? Triv told me about them :)

Finally! The entire Frantic series is complete!

Impossible Receptor! :)

I'm done making these maps, but does anyone else wanna make their own?
If you make an impossible odds map, email it to me and I'll throw it into the rotation. ;)

When making them, be sure to make a place for the blue to spawn, 4 linked spots for mud, zot, duk, and pog
And one big one for the bots at the end. And try not to make any jumps out, or easy bumps out. Make lots of powerups,
And have some patience while making it. Don't worry I'll add all the little scripty bits to make it work right.

Maybe now I should work on a smarter ai for the sitting boss tanks.

Woot! 2 stars!

I think the question should rather be, "do you accept maps which aren't built on to stock maps as only a few has been given abilty to make them to stock maps."

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

I don't care if its on stock maps or not.
I think it would be cooler if you made them on terrains that you had created.
You would have to offer a predownload so people can get the terrain.
But go ahead and make it on what ever you want. XD

Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 12:34:17 PM

Got the point. I thinked it was an important question, because you have mainly favourited stock maps. :)

The good thing with custom maps are you can make it to be just the kind you want.

KC

Paco, will you please consider adding more "players"? I think it would be more fun w/more players trying to squeeze through the maze. Otherwise, I really like the game! :)

Thx,

KC
