Any interest in some voice chat-while-scrumming games?

I'd like to try some scrum games where I can verbally abuse and taunt the rest of you. Which cross platform voice chat applications are best for this?

You mean go like "Haw Haw! Loser! LOSER WITH AN 'L'! On a scale of one to 10, your a 7! You know why? Because if you turn it upside down, your a loser! A loooooooooooser!" Like that? I suggest Art Crazy, or WarFare, they got like every script on the planet! :P

What can't you type fast enough?

I had this set up once. Worked pretty nice once you figured it out. http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=about

I think he means things like Instant messenger programs, dude.... Not scripts.

Yahoo Messenger's "Voice Conference" option is pretty good, but Macs don't support YIM, so Skype is a good substitute.

I personally have and use YIM. :) (Just be careful...YIM 8.0 beta's got some bugs in it, I recommend downloading version 7.5)

^ yea but while you use skype and play tt it creates lag usually. YIM is better :)

I'm in for teamspeak or ventrilo.

TeamSpeak for moi

I'm on YIM B.C., and as long as you won't kick me out of banlist for cursing your very soul every time you score on me, I'd voice chat w/ya.

Three, I would judge my success by the bite of your words. I'm on a Mac though, and YIM doesn't do voice for me. I think it may be time to buy a cheap Windows computer for such things.

@Repent©ºâ²
Yes, thanks, I did get it but haven't tried it yet. Will it run on a Mac, or is it Windows only?

Skype will do 5 people in a conference call but it uses enough computer resources to warrant running on a seperate computer. I guess you'd use "open" earbuds for the Skype computer.

@NUTS!
Running a Linux Teamspeak server would be a good use for a Unixshell.com account? And yes, I'm a crappy typer and I've spilled beer on most of my keyboards so they have keys that don't work now.

I actually have a teamspeak server already set up on my gameserver. If anyone wants to use it ever I can set it up with a password or something.

@BC

Yes I think it could be done that way. Howvever just renting a teamspeak server may be cheaper. I think I saw a 10 slot one for like $3 a month. Unless, you already the unixshell account, I would be happy to help set it up.

Currently, have one set up. Do a quick connect to nutstt.game-host.org:8767 or (but try the other one first, wonder if that works) 69.215.155.144:8767.

Would be interesting to get a bunch of people on and play a few games to see if it creates any lag. I know using skype during games would cause alot of lag.
