I installed the ignore -messageHud.cs.dso as instructed and now I have lost all chat capability - the dialogue box

Will not come up. Any suggestions?

Make sure you got the right version. If you mix up the pc/mac, you will end up with a non functioning script that results in no chat. :S

But I did make sure it was mac and I still cannot bring dialogue box up- even when I remove the new script all together.

No chat - no box - no ignore - no nothin -hmmmm. What now? :[

Followup with the solution (in case it might be helpful for someone else in the future):

Make sure you are replacing messageHud.cs.dso and NOT messagesHud.cs.dso <-- note that there is an 's' in there. That screwed me up a couple times.

You should have both

- messageHud.cs.dso

- messagesHud.cs.dso

In your game/client/scripts/ folder.
