Your state of mind effects your focus and confidence, your focus and confidence effects how well you can deal with something.
We all make a few observations when we enter a game, how well your connectivity is, are the teams fair, who's paying, ect.
Internal Issues = State of Mind = Level of play. It's like an avalanche.
If you see lagg, or someother problem, it triggers a few chemical reactions in your brain that will subsequently hender all the traits needed to perform well. IE, you get sad, and can't focus. So instead of focusing on the game its self, you're now focused on how slow you're moving, and how bad your shot-ratio is. Then you don't you dont preform well.
However...If you wan't to pay attention to a problem, then you're going to get consumed by it. If you wan't to ignore a problem, then it suddenly isn't effecting you, even if it's effecting you.
I aslo don't see why people that have been playing this game for years feel compromised to bitch about why they're not playing up to their potential because of lagg, or someother exsisting issue. If you're being effected by lagg or something, leave then. No one wants to hear you bitch about why "you're sucking so bad".
Well I am not sure what to call it ! State of Mind , Luck , Skill , Team Mates or Lag , I just seem to always have it ! Even Paisano stated once,
Lonewolf just seems to have the nack for being in the right place at the right time, especially around the goal !
Now none of this would be possible with out all the factors I stated above ! Now I have had my fair share of bad games, so by no means am I saying I am a God ! Though it is rare for me to be off my game but it also takes great team work ! B)

When I'm up too late my shooting is everywhere
< a god
< gaudy
Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.
Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.

So THAT's why I suck after 2+ years!
State of Mind- I get up at 6:00 AM to play TT. Not a good state...
Luck- Not my strong suit.
Skill- Haven't been playing a lot lately.
Teammates- I TRY to join the fewer, but more skilled, side, but not always.
Lag- A 1400MHz Athlon will do that to you. But I'm writing this on my mom's office comp, with a Pentium II. Oy vey...
Good news, though, is that I have DSL. And in the office, there's a T1 connection. XD XD XD XD XD
It depends on my connection that day. No, not the internet. God loves thinktanks, you didn't know?
Depends how much wine I have had.....lol
Depents if I am bored or not or there is sucky people in the mod
I believe listening to intense music, or playing TT right after an exciting action-packed movie increases my performance greatly XD when I'm dopey I sorta half-heartedly click the mouse, hoping to get a few hits, but when active and confident, my reflex is to quickly blast any sucker that happens to be in front of me with a full clip :P so yes, IMO, mood affects my play a lot ;)

I use multi-billion dollar military satellites to find tupperware hidden in the woods... What do YOU do?
I find it curious that when I'm really focused and intent on the game, good things happen. You get into a zone, the scrum seems to be nearby at all times. A number of weeks ago, there was a streak where everything went my way. BIG_PAPA kept accusing me of gluing the scrum to my tank. My focus was sharp, and I knew where everyone was going, and the goals were rolling in.
Then, just as suddenly as that came on, it was gone. Sometimes you just can't keep up that level of intensity, and combining that intensity with luck makes for a great game. Too bad ya can't bottle and sell it, eh?
Ya I baroed some glue from LGM the scores was 6 to 0 and every one else be sides me got 0 also chong said I went right throught him making a goal

Hey, some threads are timeless. Anyone remember this one started by Rx on April 28, 2004?
State of mind effects play - or is it...?
The whole thread is good but notice the very last one by Gnomie. He disappeared from TT and then PTT shortly after posting that one. Man he was a quick typer and he had a wit to match.
