Dear modders,

I was wondering why the bots have a sudden craving for power-ups more than battlemode. In scrum, when a power-up appears, the bots most likely charge in and take it. I am saying on how this is possible in scrum and not battlemode. It seems that BraveTree has made some sort of program that makes the bots crave for such things - correct?

I am not sure about this. Maybe it came with the bots AI? If anybody knows about this coincidence, may you please share with others? Oh and also, wouldn't it be nice for the bots to use the speed boosts and jump pads more often too?

If the bots could use the speed boosts and jump pads more often then it will be great because it will more diffacult to catch them.

Thanks a lot.

I have been trying to figure this out too for my xBots, and it appears that BT made it so they lock on and try to get the powerup first. Please help!

I suspect there's no difference other than in battlemode human players are more likely to snag the powerups first. So the bots go after them more in scrum because they are more available.

Actually I noticed the same thing
and my theory is that there is coding in the scrum game itself which
influences the bots desire for objects like scrum goals and powerups
Same in PTT - CTF
After all if you play CTF enough eventually you will see a bot doing exactly as
it should - sitting in the center of the goal collecting points
Weird but true!!!!
