I use some pretty old software for the site I run, and it's really easy to link a file for download. Basically, once you have the file(s) in your site folder (or subfolder), all you have to do is provide a link to it. Just be sure the path is correct, and a link shows up that the users can choose to download.
It should be easy technically, but I wonder about the legality of the downloads... If you own the tunes, no problem.
There's plenty of places where u can build a website totally free, though I forgot the name, gotta look it up when I have time.
I use Macromidia Flash Mx 2004, I'm not a great scripter, but hey, I might be of use ;)

I think you can go to freewebs.com and get yourself a free website. Any free website you make would be www.freewebs.com/whatever_you_name_this_part.i am not 100% sure this will work, as I have not done this myself, but I heard this from a friend. Good luck ;)
^ Yea! That's the place! ;) B)

Hi,
This week I am taking some time from work before I travel to NZ (Auckland). In the next couple of days I am seeking to make a mix of my latest tunes (Hardware:- Technics 1200's x 2, Denon s5000 x 2, Vestax PCV 275, Dell Laptop Inspiron 8500), and record it to my laptop.
I am in the process of obtaining a domain name, and will soon be hosting a website whereby I can upload my mix so that people can download the MP3. Does anyone know how to do this??
Basically I am seeking to use it for promotional purposes!!! This site will be used by other DJ's who might want to upload mixes for people to download or stream. I have a feeling that this is a complicated process, but hey, please point me in the right direction!!!
Is there an easy way of building a website that is low cost, and doesn't require excessive configuring?? Anyone an expert in Macromedia Flash??
Thanking you in advance!!!
