I'm with Monica, Mac's are great for pictures or videos, but if want to get any work done (or real gaming) its Windows and the antichrist Bill Gates all the way.
Yes Macs are good for work and pics but for real gaming I stick with the windows.

OK, the latest version of Windows (when it comes out) or Mac OS X or Linux (preferably Ubuntu) or FreeBSD or HP-ux or whatever doesn't suck. Oo-BOON-too 6.4 is due out in a couple of months, and it'll probably be t3h r0x0rz4g3.
I love my Linux PC.
All the Mac OS(even X) really is, is BSD.
But I got no probs with any OS. They all have their stong points and their weak points.
IMO PC is better for gaming.
IMO Mac is better for an easy to use machine.
IMO Linux is better for servers.
Either one CAN be used for gaming, just PC has the most commercial games.
IMO Coke AND Pepsi suck.

Damn Small Linux is pretty 1337 for gaming for the sole reason that it's uncluttered, and therefore way faster.
Oh, and you can put it on a flash drive. That's pretty sw33t.

Maybe YOU should really check out Linux. Seriously, whohasn't heard of Tiger? Yeah, we know, it has Widgets and Dashboard, it has Spotlight, it has Stealth Mode, it has Core image/Video, it has a whole bunch of stuff hardly anyone other than a hardcore Mac OS geek'll appreciate, now on to something you HAVEN'T heard of... Meet Kubuntu Linux.
I'm with jacob it is definately rootbeer. An ice cold Henry's after work..... Hmmm.. Time to go shopping. Oh and Macs drive me nuts to try to work with them (have to use VirtualPC to get anything to work) :P
Never used a linux heard they were good and are way better than Microsoft but have yet to check them out WHICH I WELL DO IN THE FUTURE
Idk, Linux is a bit high-level, even if you can run it on any type of computer, including Suns and SPARCs,
you need to do a ton of preinstallation stuff like partitioning your HD, which might be a bit complicated for some people...
And yes, Linux is better than Winblows, but hey, what isn't? Mac OS might be even better than Linux for all I know.
