Page : <1> :

When you open ports in your router's firewall to host a dedicated server for TT be aware that it's only for one computer.

In order to host dedicated servers from more than one computer at a time you have to open ports specific to each computer.

Example:
open ports 28000-28002 for computer A and
open ports 28003-28005 for computer B

TT will try to use whatever port is specified in the resources/game/server/prefs.cs and/or resources/game/client/prefs.cs file. If you want to host from computer B you will have to specify 28003, 28004, or 28005.

Hi BC
That is true in some cases
It depends on the router
and how its deals with open port requests
If you have and older Linksys - they use port forwarding and u must open multiports
1 for each computer
if you have a 3 com it has a game mode which auto addresses port reqs
I just open a 2nd or 3rd server on same and/or different machine on subnet and voila
the console reports 28002 busy trying 28003 etc
Thanks for sharing
