What times are good for you?

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is fine for us, if not, post your preferred time / days and we'll all find something we can agree on.

To start this off,

The first round matches must be played before Saturday.

I don't know if the "Black Hand" applies yet. We really haven't gotten ANY response from the other team (except baklava once). We haven't had a chance to agree on a time for them to miss yet.

Oops...the seeding got changed. Looks like we won't go against Tally's game until the Finals! So...not to be cynical...we probably don't have to worry about disclosing any secrets if we practice against them tonight. Hopefully, they will have forgotten them by the finals. ;)

Anyhow, they'll be checking into a Team Scrum room at 7:30pm PST

Z, if you are able to make it to this practice round, would you be able to host it? I know your schedule is pretty nuts, lately.

Zach just found out that he is on a team. He hadn't been watching the thread, and I couldn't find his email until I found one of his posts, so he got the news a little late.

Ishbuu definitely wants to rumble. He can only check email in the evening, though.

Baklava, I assume, wants to do combat as well.

So, what works better for you three? Thursday evening (this evening), or Saturday evening? We're looking at about 7pm PST, but tell us what hours you can do it.

Let's hope the other 2 respond tonight. Zach has been bouncing around so many teams and tourneys lately that he's still trying to remember which tourney I'm talking about. Z and ACA, can you make Saturday at around 7pm PST? Any time after 5pm PST is okay for me.

I can do 7pm PST on Saturday. Hopefully these guys confirm so we don't have to be showing up everynight til whenever waiting for them.

Btw - baklava tastes bad, so it's gonna be more of a chew-up and spit-out situation.

@ Z: The Tungsten W is my personal property. I'm personally paying by the kb doing this. Thankfully, we have a sleep rotation out here, so I and my soldiers got to sleep for 5 hours last night/morning (just at different times).

@TG: Loser? WHAT? Did your team just put a black mark on my predictions sheet?!?! Damn...

@ACA: You better get your priorities straight, buddy! XD I wouldn't want to get credit for my ThinkTanks hours. In the real life, missing twice is considered a failure!

Just 7 more hours to go...Man, it got cold last night too. Temperature dropped all the way down to 37deg F!!! :P How are you Easterners holding up?

I love National Guard equipment. It's so sad. We are actually doing peace-keeping training with CUTVs instead of tanks this round (camouflaged Chevy Blazers...I'm serious, the Military uses camouflaged Chevy Blazers for Peace-keeping duties within the U.S.). One CUTV managed to break down on this incredibly steep hilltop where we guard a relay station. Too steep to tow it. The repair vehicle came up...and it broke down too. A bit of a long night for us.

Just read Tally and TankGirl's post on last night's tourney. Z, was this on your server? I think we may need to allow the admin to monitor games so he can hear if people are having lag problems. Just pick a spot hanging from the side of the cliff, perhaps. This is just sad that it happens to the guy who organized all of this!

Oh, I still need the password for tonight's game. Have you sent that out yet?

@baklava - I've done what I could to get your team together. The most I can say is that Tally's selection didn't work out for this team. But, it was either make a team out of the pool of players or not have them play at all. Bolo is having a game tonight at 6:00pm PST, but is short-handed. It may be better to join his team then die in a 3 on 1 battle. Check out his thread in the Leagues forum. Otherwise, we'll see you at:
