Never thought I'd have to do this but two major sites I am involved in (they are owned by the same person) have been hacked. Now I have no knowledge of the security codes involved but what should I do about these people?

Well, I'm no genius when it comes to computer-internet stuff, but here are my suggestions:

1) Contact the owner of the site (I assume you have done this already)

2) Try to identify if these people are linked in any way - perhaps an organized hackers group

3) Worse comes to worse - either try to rebiuld the website and get additional secruity installed or report the incident

This is tough since computer / internet hackers are so common...my advice probably doesnt help you any but I guess the best thing to do is just to rework the site, update all security and add in additonal checkpoints, like perhaps having a sign-in area or a security code for the site that changes each day, week or month that only the site admin can identify.

Man this is unfortunate

:(

You should probably let those in charge of the site take care of it.

Well since the person is the same, the owner that is, the group either targeted him/her, or just wanted to give him greif. I guess I would do what Lag Man said.
