@Dj

We will then be able to play Holographic ThinkTanks...
You will need this gear for now to get a taste of the future of TT

Thats where it is, with instructions too... Dont exec it in the main.cs except if you need to use it, as it disable sthe use of "u" and "I" in chat (never been able to fix that... Ah heck, if I ever find a way to bind it back to chatting :P)
EDIT: Oh heck, I forgot I lost the source for it... If anyone still has it (like Repent, I'll ask him when I see him) e-mail me please! (Yahoo e-mail)

Even if the company that ones and hosts ThinkTanks goes out of business, we will still be able to play TT for many years to come. How you ask? Well, thanks to the excellent work done by several of our admins (especially artcrazy), we've been able to come up with a way to play TT even when all official TT servers are down! By changing our main.cs file and adding the IP addresses and port numbers for privately hosted servers we are able to play together online as if nothing ever happened!
Can someone post the link to the thread that explains how to connect to private servers when all servers are down? There is a small download involved too. All worth it and easy to do and it works great!
So, it looks like TT will be around for a long time to come no matter what happens to its creator/owner.
The core of the game might never be updated, but the mods/maps and skins/objects will constantly change and evolve.
