If you like intense multiplayer action

Funny you would say that here :)

Yes so true....

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

I can't help but twist a quote from Jurassic Park

Uh, there is supposed to be some action in this action packed game, right John?

OK, so it's neat, but a lot of controls. I kept accidentally switching my weapons as I tried to manuver. I liked how it aimed. Thing is, you've got to have someone to play against. I don't think I'll slap down $15 for it just yet. :S

Yes, part of the reason for the post here was to get some people in there on the servers to try to get some critical mass going...Getting a multiplayer game to go to critical mass is a hard thing, and it needs all the help it can get.

That dose'nt look like a good game at ALL. TT is for me ONLY XD

OK...maybe I was a little hasty. I just played a game on a server with some other dudes and it was a LOT better. My hand's hurting from trying to fly and I need to learn the other key functions, but I can see where it will grow on you. Funny thing though, everytime I was destroyed, I'd hit my <spacebar> to regenerate. %)

Me too and I was pressing return to talk... I was playing with triv right now..... It was fun!

Pray to GOD for him to reveal himself to you.

Its a fun game but its very confusing, the controls are strange but I like it.

Friday, December 17, 2004 at 3:20:42 PM

The controls are much easier to 'get' if you use a dual analog stick.

Friday, December 17, 2004 at 3:37:58 PM

I've got to get used to the controls. No dual analog sticks here. :( Saw Art Crazy in there. It was fun!

Excellent fun! I first played it a few months ago when it was Alpha. The Beta version didn't work ( :S ?), but this version works perfectly! I think I will purchase it. Saw Revel, Triv and Art Crazyİ in there... Really Fun Game!

The look of the game reminds me of VecTrex - remember the little console that came out in 1985 or something? Was all vector graphic, very sharp. First game was an Asteroid-like clone.

I actually had a Vectrex machine. It was damned cool in its day. I think it was more like 1982 or '83 though. I had half a dozen games and wore out a couple of controllers. The built-in game was called Mine Storm. Every mine you shot turned into two more. Some shot back at you when you hit them and some were magnetic.

One of the games I had was Armor Attack, a multi-player tank fighting game which was also in arcades back then. It wasn't nearly as nice as Think Tanks, but in its day it seemed pretty cool.

So, I now realize that I have been shooting little cartoon tanks on screen for more than two decades.

Oh dear God I've wasted my life. (Comic Book Guy reference).

You know, its a great concept, and the controls work great with my Logitech Dual-stick, but....well....
Eye-candy sells, and this doesn't have much. Lets face it, many get into a game by seeing it in the magazine, or as pictures on a game-site, then say, "Whoa! Looks sw33t! Lets check it out!" Shallow? Heck ya, this is gaming we are talking about! I got into ThinkTanks because I saw pictures of the incredible 3D rolling terrain with the beautifully textured, smoking light-tank flying off a cliff-side with an Area Effect exploding off to the side. I thought, "now THAT looks like a wild ride! Lets check it out!" And so, here I am.

This game looks like a step-up from Gravitron. Makes me think it runs in MacMAME. I know they wanted to keep the game accessible to those with minimal systems, but they went too far. The craft should be a nicely rendered, textured spaceship with varied, colorful battlefields. I mean, this is the kind of detail used in RADAR DISPLAYS these days, not the main screen.

Its a neat playing game, but most people will probably join only through invitation of those that are already playing. I hope I'm wrong, but I believe it will be a slow climb for this game.

Yes, I had some quality games with Spunky, and considering that I have gotten a few "Your good Pink"s, I think I'm going to buy the game.

At first I hated it. Two seconds later...

Some minor complaints that would be easily fixed:

1. Backspace doesn't work

2. Updating the ship's weapons etc takes a really long time, unless I'm doing something wrong

3. Add a 3-second invulnerability after you spawn...camping is too easy.

Other than that, I love it!

@ Spunky
Updating the ships weapons takes seconds...........

For me, it seems to take about 3 or so minutes, and by that time, I'm dead.

I just got used to it, "q,1,5,1,2,3" That's my usual.
